Storytelling and creativity have been a part of me since I was a child. And now over the years, I have found deep meaning in sharing the beauty and hardship in this life and the joy of starting something anew, of creating with wild imagination - these are tools that I know can impact people and give them hope if stewarded well.

I found a passion for graphic design and photography through the lens of the places and people around me. Creativity has become my outlet of finding beauty in the creation around us everyday. And ultimately, I want my work to point back to the Creator of us all - my faith in Jesus Christ is at the core of who I am.

I have my BS in Strategic Communications with emphasis on Graphic Design, Photography, and Studio Arts from Liberty University. However, I am currently working as a magazine designer for a large non-profit, a designer for a small agency, and building Kate Mitchell Creative!
