DIGITAL | PRINT | ILLUSTRATION
I created the For My Neighbor print piece as a project that aligns with my personal heart for international missions. The For My Neighbor print was designed digitally and then carved into a rubber block for linocut printing. The print was transferred onto tote bags and print paper to help raise money for missions work.
The Pilea Plant. This plant is well-known for its ability to grow through propogation. Its single stems can grow new roots once plucked and taken to a new place. The Pilea is constantly growing and spreading and many call it the Pass it Along.
The symbolism of a Pilea is quite powerful when relating to the gospel. We are called to Pass it Along. We are called to faithfully go spread new roots and share the good news. We are called to love those around us.
For My Neighbor.
As I launched the printed products to be sold for fundraising, I developed and launched a mini campaign to get the word out to potential supporters. I created a series of posts and stories to share the design and its purpose on Instagram. The graphics were designed using a mini-brand that was cultivated from the art print to maintain a cohesive message across all mediums.
*The designs featured for Instagram stories were created with the intent of adding a direct link to the purchase form once uploaded to the posting platform.
