THE SEARCH IS OVER

INDEED: NSAC 1ST PLACE

Under the American Advertising Federation, I participated in the 2023 National Student Advertising Competition for the corporate client, Indeed. Team 150, the Liberty University Advertising Team, competed at the district, semifinal, and national level with the campaign The Search is Over. Our campaign was placed with the honor of 1st in the nation - having presented against almost 100 other campaigns. I was a designer on the creative team for The Search is Over, and I specialized in campaign branding, plansbook layout, and vector illustration.

the challenge

Our corporate client, Indeed, approached the participants of the National Student Advertising Competition with an involved problem. Indeed was struggling to reach Generation Z, and they challenged us with the task of increasing unaided consideration among 18-24 year-olds while strictly sticking to their brand.

the solution

Through months of research & strategy, our team determined that Gen Z is overwhelmed by the job search and values customization. Our design team developed a brand that communicates the concept of filters through special icons to communicate how users can search, filter, and find their next job on Indeed. The campaign also utilizes hand selected colors from the Indeed palettes and custom illustrations that represent Generation Z.
